Spectral development of Earth gravity
models in EUVN points
|
Table: Used global gravitational models

Spectral development of CG01c, EGM96, EGM96s, CHAMP03s, GRACE02s Earth gravity
models in two EUVN points and EGG97 and EUVN undulations are shown on the figures
below.

Spectral development of CHAMP-GRACE-Terrestrial
data Earth gravity model - CG01c
|
Animation of the spectral development of Earth gravity model CG01c on the territory
of Europe is showing behavior of Earth gravity field in different wavelengths.
Because big change in scale animation is divided two parts:
1) Spectral development from 2 to 101 for the whole territory of Europe,
2) Spectral development from 102 to 360

Big errors of EUVN considering EGM96,
GGM01c and CG01c Earth gravity models
|
Table: Big EUVN errors (>0,5 m) considering EGM96, GGM01c and CG01c Earth
gravity models.
Almost all EUVN big errors detected by EGG97 are in coastal regions (s. Fig. below).

Datum differences between EUVN and
gravity models
|
Average value of differences between EUVN and Earth gravity models undulations
can be, in the first approximation, seen as datum differences.
European gravimetric geoid 1997 (EGG97) is fitted on EUVN network.
The main statistical characteristics of EUVN and geoid models undulation differences
in table below are calculated without points with big errors.

and geoid models undulation differences (120 points)
